Children of Beslan go to school. Teachers and armed security guards were meeting them outside. Sappers checked all schools in the town a couple of days ago - they did not find anything suspicious. The majority of children, however, did not go to schools today. About a dozen of children came to School №6 - the nearest one to School №1, which terrorists seized.
Senior students were silently approaching Viktor Mikhailov, the teacher of life security, kissing him on a cheek. Mikhailov's brother, also a teacher, was killed in the terrorist attack.
"I am happy to see you here alive and safe," Tatiana Mischenko addressed to her class. Only three children came to the lesson. Two students of 26 came to school from 7B class. "I am not only a teacher, but also a mother," Fatima Gusalova, the class teacher said. She left her own two children at home. "I have personally seen specialists examining every corner in the building. But I am scared anyway. However, I think that life will be different tomorrow, and our children will start going to school," Gusalova said.
