Vladimir Putin to take to sea on submarine

President Vladimir Putin visits Murmansk Region today. According to Chief Federal Inspector for Murmansk Region Vladimir Losev, Putin will arrive on a one-day visit and take part in large-scale training exercises held by the Northern fleet. Putin will also take to the sea in one of the fleet's submarines.

The Northern fleet's military exercises include the aircraft carrier Admiral Kuznetsov, anti-submarine ships Admiral Chabanenko and Admiral Levchenko and the nuclear cruiser Peter the Great, minesweepers, anti-submarine and fighter aircraft and other nuclear powered vessels.
