Pskovenergo Director to Fight With Terrorists

Nineteen settlements in the Pskov region of Russia are de-energized because of plundering at energy objects
Director of JSC Pskovenergo, Veniamin Pinkhasik said at a press conference yesterday that at present 19 settlements of the Pskov region remained without electricity. In his words, 144 objects were de-energized on the territory of the region within the eleven months of the year. Director general of the energy enterprise promises that the de-energized objects will be connected to electric power supply by the New Year holiday.

Veniamin Pinkhasik says that power engineering sphere of the city of Pskov is suffering great losses because of systematic plundering; this is also the reason why the 19 objects are currently de-energized in the region. “I already declared that I refer plundering of energy objects to terrorism, and I repeat once again that it’s terrorism indeed! Although thieves don’t point guns at people directly, they can de-energize hospitals and kill those people who are operated on there,” Veniamin Pinkhasik says. He is perfectly sure that plundering of energy objects has already developed into professional activity; it’s a well-organized and perfectly regulated business.
