Governor of the Kaliningrad Region Vladimir Yegorov has signed an agreement of cooperation with Governor of the Podlaskie Province Marek Stshalinsky in Poland. As a Rosbalt correspondent was informed by the press office of the Kaliningrad administration, the Russian delegation arrived in Poland three days ago. The delegation includes members of the local government and business representatives.
The agreement outlines the main areas of partnership between the regions and one of these is tourism. There are also plans to organise transport between the two regions including a bus route from Kaliningrad to Bialystok which may also go to Grodno. The Russian delegation was in the Grodno Region yesterday to discuss this possibility and also met some of the local political and business representatives. They discussed prospects for collaboration in the areas of construction, agriculture and fish-processing.
