Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov has given instructions to hold an investment symposium and an investment fair of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum on September 4-12, 2002. A representative of the Government Information Department told RBC that Deputy Prime Minister Ilya Klebanov had been appointed chairman of the national organizational committee on holding the above-mentioned symposium in Vladivostok. He was instructed to form the above-mentioned committee, consisting of representatives of the Foreign Ministry, the Economic Development Ministry, the Finance Ministry, the Property Ministry, the Science and Industry Ministry, the Antimonopoly Ministry, and the administrations of the City of Vladivostok and Primorsky Region. Accordingly, the national organizational committee on holding the investment symposium and the investment fair of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum in Vladivostok was instructed to prepare and approve a concept, a plan for preparations, and the estimate for expenditures related to organizing the above-mentioned events in Vladivostok.
