Moscow to host Russian-Norwegian Jazz Festival

The Third Russian-Norwegian Jazz Festival will be held in Moscow International Performance Arts Center on 21-22 October.

“The festival is included into official program of celebrating 100th anniversary of Norway’s independence and establishment of diplomatic relations between Norway and Russia,” the Center’s press-release reports.

The participants of the festival are such stars of the world jazz as Karin Krog, Tri O’Trang and Norwegian composer and guitarist Odd-Arne Jakobsen who will perform together with the quartette of the famous Russian guitarist Aleksey Kuznetsov.

The concerts will be sponsored by Norwegian Embassy in Moscow, Moscow Government Committee of Culture, Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Norwegian Jazz Federation. A.M.
