Russia's first five-hall multiplex-cinema, named Five Stars, is to open in Moscow. Its opening is timed to the beginning of the 18th International Moscow Festival of Films for Children and Youth. From December 17 to 22 within the bounds of the festival children and parents will see free of charge more than fifty feature, documentary and animated-cartoon films in five halls of the movie-theatre. The multiplex-cinema is situated in the very centre of Moscow. The four-storey complex houses not only five cinema halls but also bars, cafes, confectionary shops, and kiosks selling souvenirs and video cassettes. The complex also includes a site with attractions for children which has an area of 200 square metres.
