The Russian missile force will soon have the most advanced technological complexes, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday at a press conference following strategic military exercises that took place in Barents Sea.
According to the president, experiments that were held as part of these war games confirmed the efficiency of these complexes. They can "hit targets at an intercontinental depth," "with a hypersonic speed, high precision and the opportunity of deep manoeuvre in terms of height and course," said the Russian leader.
In his words, no other country in the world has such systems. This gives ample ground to affirm that Russia will have a reliable strategic security for a long historical term, said Putin.
"We should use shock therapy to sober up the Americans. In this case, the Americans will speak about the need to resume dialogue. There is no other option"
The United States is concerned about the current crisis in the relations with Russia and suggests returning to reasonable policies to avoid a nuclear war
