Bus bomb in Jerusalem kills 14

Another act of terrorism was committed Tuesday early in Jerusalem. A Palestinian suicide bomber entered a bus not far from Pat Crossing, and an explosion followed immediately. Another version says that an explosive device was placed into the bus beforehand. The explosion was so powerful that the bus was ripped to pieces. Jerusalem police chief Mickey Levy said that at least 14 people were killed and 35 werewounded. The wounded were taken to nearby hospitals. It is supposed that schoolchildren from southern Jerusalem also took the bus to get to school. As of now, Jerusalem police are carrying out a mass search of the area near the accident site. No terrorist group has claimed responsibility for the explosion yet; however, CNN reports that the Palestinian Authority immediately announced no connection with the bus explosion.
