Quote of the week: Noam Chomsky in the interview to the Greek press

- Do you agree with the opinion that the world has changed after September 11, 2001?

- Absolutely. The history of Europe and the United States is marked with horrible crimes against others or massacring each other, like in the American Civil War or the European wars. On September 11, the cannons turned in the opposite direction for the first time, at least to a great extent. Congo has never attacked Belgium, India never attacked England, Algeria, Mexico, and the Philippines have never attacked the U.S.A. The events of September 11 were unique, unfortunately not in their scale, but in their goals.
