A piece of sad news from Australia

Over 1,400 in Sydney area are without electric power today after a violent storm hit New South Wales yesterday. Repair crews are working around the clock to bring power back. The Sydney storm follows a similar disaster affecting the state of Queensland in North-East Australia over the weekend.

An Australia journalist is reported murdered by unknown gunmen in Afghanistan. The cameraman was travelling in a convoy bringing foreign press crews from Jalalabad to Kabul. Unidentified armed men stopped the convoy and shot dead three passengers - an Australian, an Italian and an Afghani.
