State Duma to consider address to the Prime Minister on Chubais resignation

On November 28, the State Duma will discuss the draft address to Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov, asking him to consider the question of the resignation of Anatoly Chubais from the post of the head of the RAO Unified Energy Systems of Russia. Dmitry Rogozin, the head of the Lower House international committee and one of the authors of the draft address, informed reporters about it on Thursday.

According to him, the Duma Council has taken this decision today.

Sergei Glazyev is a co-author of this draft address.

"One cannot be a manager and use the knife-switch for political aims at one and the same time. Anatoly Chubais uses the RAO Unified Energy Systems of Russia in the parliamentary election campaign of the Union of Right Forces, being a leader of this party. Such holding of more than one office does not exist anywhere in the world," said Rogozin.
