National exhibition of Bulgaria opens in Moscow

The Moscow Industry Centre has opened a national exhibition of Bulgaria on Wednesday. The exhibition was organised by the Bulgarian Economy Ministry with assistance of the apparatus of the Russian presidential plenipotentiary in the Central federal district.

The exposition features products by 40 Bulgarian companies and enterprises - cosmetics, perfumes, wine, pharmaceuticals, footwear, clothes, leather goods, transport vehicles, electrical instruments and hydraulic systems.

In his speech Moscow Mayor Yury Luzhkov said that over a number of years Russo-Bulgarian trade-economic relations had been characterised by "unfavourable trends and a serious misbalance." "The time has come to improve the relations," he stressed adding that "Moscow does not lose time stepping up co-operation with Bulgaria in construction, pharmaceutics and food industry." The exhibition will last three days.
