Another five blocs to run for Duma

The Central Election Commission registered another five blocs for December's parliamentary polls at today's session.

The Liberal Democratic Party, the Agrarian Party, the party for Progress of Private Enterprise, the Motherland bloc, and the bloc Russian Revival Party/Russian Party of Life all qualify to campaign, each with 200,000 public signatures in support of each.

A total nine political parties and four election blocs have registered their tickets for today. Each can nominate constituency candidates without public signatures and/or election deposits up to 6 p.m., local time, October 22.
