Deputy Mayor of Makhachkala Ahmed Aliyev murdered

As became known right now, deputy mayor of the city administration in Mikhachkala (Dagestan) Ahmed Aliyev was murdered this morning.

The city administration of Makhachkala informs, Aliyev and his wife were murdered in their house. News agencies inform, the law enforcement authorities of Dagestan confirm the fact of the murder. No details have been published so far, an investigation has been started.

Earlier, on January 18 an act of terrorism was committed in Makhachkala; seven people were killed and three – wounded. A ZIL-130 army truck was blown up. The truck transported soldiers of the 102nd brigade of Russia’s Internal Ministry stationed in Makhachkala.
