St PETERSBURG, September 22. Russian President Vladimir Putin and Finnish President Tarya Halonen had a meeting here Thursday.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said the Northern Dimension Program presented interest to all Europeans and he proposed to continue cooperation in its format.
As he met with the Finnish President, Tarja Halonen, Putin said: “I fully agree our joint activity in the framework of the Northern Dimension is of interest to all of our countries.”
“We plan maintaining those programs along with developing bilateral relations,” he said.
“Finnish investors will take part in several joint projects in the coming few years,” Putin said, adding that Russia’s financial capability had grown substantially, too, Itar-Tass reported.
