Putin on Saudi Arabian proposal

Russian President Vladimir Putin has supported the idea of Saudi Arabia to hold an international conference on fighting terrorism in Riyadh at the beginning of February 2005. According to the press service of the Russian President, this statement is contained in a response letter to Abdallah bin bin Abd al-Aziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince of the Saudi Arabia Kingdom. In particular, it is said in the letter that recent events in Russia and Saudi Arabia have shown that the terrorist threat is global and it is necessary to unite in order to fight it.
