Russian state dachas appear in Crimea

The Crimean government donated ten reserve and cultural objects of the peninsula to the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation. The objects include  "Dubrava-2" residence, state dacha on the basis of the former Yusupov Palace in the village of Koreiz, near the Massandra Palace, as well as residences N5 and N7 in the village of Gaspra and several sanatoriums in Foros, Simeis, Gurzuf and Alushta.

Before Crimea's return to the structure of the Russian Federation, all of the above-mentioned objects were used by top Ukrainian officials.

Sergei Aksenov, the head of the Crimea, said that the objects were delivered to the presidential administration of the Russian Federation free of charge because all of them required reconstruction. The works to repair the facilities will be conducted at the expense of the state budget.

State dachas, after repairs, will serve for those, for whom they were built - top state officials. The Yusupov Palace will remain open to tourists along with children's summer camps and sanatoriums.

The presidential administration also received the Crimean Natural Reserve, the largest in the Crimea. The reserve takes about 45,000 hectares of land in the south of the peninsula.
