The Novosibirsk region of Russia counts on cooperation with South Korea in the process of implementation of Russian projects in the high technologies sector.
"Russia has a lot of interesting projects, thus, creating joint ventures we will be able to consolidate our efforts with South Korea in order to implement them in the production process," said the governor of the region Viktor Tolokonsky at a press conference held in Novosibirsk.
The press conference was held in the framework of the visit to Novosibirsk by the Korean official and business circles delegation headed by the Korean ambassador to Russia Cho Tae Ick.
The delegation from South Korea consists of 350 people, representing official and business circles, students, journalists, culture workers. During the coming two days the guests will see the projects developed by scientists from the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, take part in other events, prepared by the regional and municipal governments.
