Today, Giant-4 barge with pontoons was successfully moved out from Roslyakovo dock. At the moment, the submarine lies in the dock. Now water should be pumped out from the submarine. This is the task of several hours, specialists suppose. Therefore, already this night the submarine will get to dry land. First of all, the submarine will be investigated by specialists of Roslyakovo dock, by the groups of radiation, chemical and biological control of the Northern Fleet. If radiation level is normal, investigator of the Main Office of Military Prosecutor will go on board of the submarine. Ten forensic specialists also belonging to the investigation brigade will search for bodies of the crew members. At the same time, engineers of the dock will observe launching tunnels of “Granit” missiles with which Kursk is armed. If the launching tunnels are not wrecked, the missiles will be detrained from the submarine in normal way, otherwise a special operation for cutting out the launching tunnels will be necessary.
