Moscow has strongly condemned inhuman terrorist attacks that have rocked Israel in recent days, Russia's Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Saltanov said on Tuesday at a meeting with Israeli ambassador Natan Meron, RIA Novosti was told at the Russian Foreign Ministry. Saltanov expressed sincere condolences to the near and dear ones of the dead, wishing early recovery to all survivors of this appalling tragedy. He emphasized that a firm barrier should be raised in the way of terrorism. At the same time, while discussing the current situation in the Middle East, the Russian diplomat pointed out that "in an emerging situation urgent reciprocal measures by the Israelis and Palestinians are needed for an early implementation of the Tenet-Mitchell accords and switching things into political channels". Meron, in his turn, praised the Russian co-sponsor's efforts to end the murderous confrontation around Palestinian territories.
