A Peace Convoy, to set off on a trip to Chechnya from Yekaterinburg, Ural Federal District, on January 8, will bring New Year presents to Chechen kids. The presents raised comprise postcards and souvenirs made by local school children. The city has for over a month been collecting humanitarian aid and New Year presents, the effort in which teenagers and students have been actively involved. The Peace Convoy will follow the route Kazan - Penza - Ryazan - Moscow - Vladimir - Voronezh - Rostov - Stavropol - Nazran. The above cities are carrying out the following actions ahead of receiving the convoy: We Will Spare Nothing for Chechen Children, Collection of Humanitarian Aid, and Peace Convoy Symbol Contest.
