The Molnia-M rocket-carrier to start from the Plisetsk cosmodrome

A satellite of the series Kosmos is expected to be launched in the interests of the Russian Defence Ministry from the state test cosmodrome Plisetsk on Tuesday, December 24th, at 15:20, Moscow time.

The press service of the Space Forces of Russia reported about this. The start will be carried out from the sixteenth area of the cosmodrome by Launcher No. 2. The satellite will be put into a high elliptic orbit.

The preparations of the rocket-carrier and the space apparatus for launching have been completed, reported the press service of the Space Forces of Russia.
