Siberian air-controllers protest act enlarging

On Tuesday staff of Bratsk's and Ulhan-Ude's aviation enterprises joined Siberian air-controllers in their act of protest, representatives of the air-controllers' trade union reported. Air-controllers of Irkutsk and Nizhneudinsk went on hunger-strike earlier.

Thus, the number of hunger-strikers exceeded 100 people on Wednesday.

Local trade union leaders demand a 30% pay rise with further indexation and keeping professional benefits.

As soon as tomorrow some participants of the strike in Irkutsk will be prohibited to work due to their health state, doctors say. Many of the hunger-strikers will celebrate New Year in hospital as rehabilitees.
