Israel commits murder

Israeli forces have murdered another Palestinian activist. 60.000 people turned out at the funeral of Hamas number 2, Abu Hunud.

The number 2 of the Hamas movement (Movement of Islamic Resistance), Abu Hunud, was murdered on Friday in an attack by Israeli helicopters. Two companions were murdered along with him as they were travelling in a car between the village of Asire Ashamalie and the Al-Faara refugee camp.

Due to his skill at avoiding the Israeli elite forces on many occasions, Abu Hunud’s reputation had reached the status of a living legend. 60,000 people followed the funeral from the city of Jenin to the villages of Asira Ashamalie and Taluza, in Cisjordan.

The bodies of the three were carried on the shoulders of the followers, who shouted “Revenge! Revenge!” amongst bursts of automatic weapons fired by the Islamic militia. The Israeli government has admitted that its forces were responsible for this act of murder.
