Kaliningrad's Water Supply System To Be Overhauled

, reported on Tuesday Vladimir Yegorov, governor of the Kaliningrad region (Russia's western enclave). He held negotiations on the project in Moscow, the Ministry of Finance, and was authorised to get a required loan for the Vodokanal municipal enterprise of Kaliningrad. Now it will be able to pay off debts and meet the main condition of investors from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for extending credits to the Kaliningrad region. Now they may rest assured that work to update the Kaliningrad water supply system and prevent further pollution of the Baltic sea will begin next year.
