The Interior Department of Chechnya is checking the complicacy of aretained gunman to a terrorist act, in which a Mi-26 helicopter was shotdown. As an officer of the department reported to RBC, this active memberof a terrorist group was captured in a special operation executed forsearching for possible accomplices in this crime. A Mi-26 helicoptercrashed near a base of federal forces in Khankala on August 19, 2002. Over100 people were killed in this catastrophe.
