You can get shoes from Antonio Banderas, Tom Hanks, and other celebrities for just $200
Shoe designer Stuart Weitzman will be selling his shoes at an auction in October. His shoes were exclusively designed by Hollywood stars.
This is the second time that Weitzman has sold such shoes. Last year, his shoes were designed by Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Aniston, Cindy Crawford, and Charlize Theron. This year, his shoes were designed by such macho men as Antonio Banderas, Ben Stiller, Tom Hanks, and Hugh Jeckman.
Ben Stiller’s shoes are dedicated to New York. They are trimmed with something taxi-like and drawings of hotdogs. Hanks’ shoes were inspired by his favorite movie, Apollo 13. They look like spacecraft. Antonio Banderas was romantic with his design: his shoes are decorated with butterflies and stars.
The shoes are signed by their Hollywood designers. They will be auctioned on www.stuartweitzman.com in October. All profits from the auction will be donated to breast cancer research.
Apparently, the auction is not only meant for the noble goal as assisting in a scientific research. It is also supposed to remind everyone of Stuart Weitzman himself. His shoes available online cost $200. They are not anything special at all. Therefore, an actor's promotion would be very good for the designer.
Russian stars also like to design shoes. The most famous Russian singer, Alla Pugacheva, has succeeded a lot in the field. Her shoes have a certain style. Yet, there is nothing extraordinary about them. Pugacheva shoes also cost around $200, but they get good sales without any Hollywood promotions. Alla Pugacheva said that she designed her shoes personally, paying great attention to the anatomic peculiarities of women's feet. This is a very responsible statement to make, since every woman knows how agonizing designer shoes can be for women’s feet. Does Antonio Banderas know anything about it?
