Belgrade to Present Saint Petersburg with Equestrian Statue of Peter the Great on 300th Anniversary

Belgrade intends to present Saint Petersburg with a statue of Peter the Great mounted on a horse on its 300th anniversary. The Belgrade city administration told a Rosbalt correspondent that the statue would be made by the famous Serbian sculptor Neboisha Zhivoradovitch. According to certain sources this venture is being sponsored by representatives of the Centre for Serbian-Russian Cooperation.

Representatives of the Serbian foreign ministry say that Serbia is preparing another present for Saint Petersburg but there are no details about this present yet.
