YUKOS will not postpone the placement of its $1bn bond issue, which is a part of the plan of the merger with Sibneft, Alexander Shadrin, the head of YUKOS's press service, told RBC.
Last week YUKOS and Sibneft confirmed their intentions to finish the merger by the end of 2003.
Currently, task forces of the companies are defining the corporate structure of the new company, YukosSibneft.
