Russia' participation in IDET-2003 in Brno will show the great potential of the Russian defence industry.
Alexander Nozdrachev, Director General of the Russian Conventional Arms Agency, said this in his interview with RIA Novosti on Tuesday. He heads the Russian delegation at the 7th international exhibition of defence and security technologies and special information systems.
He said that such events boosted contacts with foreign partners and gave Russian companies chances to reach agreements.
Nozdrachev mentioned that Russia's stands were popular both with ordinary visitors and the Czech leadership. Czech trade and industry minister Milan Urban, Brno Mayor Petr Duchon, and South Moravia Governor Stanislav Juranek visited the Russian exposition. The Russian delegation met with Czech deputy defence minister Pavel Severa.
