Crown Prince of Monaco to visit Saint Petersburg

Crown Prince of the Principality of Monaco Albert will arrive in Saint Petersburg on Wednesday for a three-day visit. He will take part in the ceremony of the assumption of the office by new Honorary Consul of the Principality of Monaco in Saint Petersburg, which will take place on July 31 in the former summer residence of Russian tsars in the town of Pushkin (suburbs of Saint Petersburg).

The programme of his visit also includes a meeting with the leadership of the Saint Petersburg administration, visiting the State Hermitage Museum, the biggest Russian museum of fine arts, and sightseeing in the city itself and its suburbs.

This will be the second visit of Prince Albert to Saint Petersburg. His first visit to Russia's "northern capital" took place two years ago, in July of 2001.
