A man suspected of murdering two eight-year-old girls was killed by a mob in the southern Russian province of Dagestan, police said Monday.
The two girls went missing from their home in the village of Bashlykent on Saturday and were found buried on Sunday in a plot of land belonging to the man, the local Interior Ministry said.
Agarza Omarov, 38, had a criminal record including rape according to media reports. Villagers hunted him down and killed him Sunday, later burning the body inside his house, the ministry's press service said, reports the AP.
