New Greenhouse Put To Use In Bashkiria

The collective farm Alexeevski in Bashkiria has put to use a new greenhouse. It was built with the participation of specialists from the Netherlands. Opening up, Bashkiria's President Murtaza Rakhimov said it is a farming unit of "unique" capacity, producing 1,000 tonnes of vegetables annually. The technical director of the Dutch firm Holland Jos Opstahl said results of the greenhouse's second stage will not be long in waiting. The Dutch greenhouse features contour heating, horizontal and vertical screening which protects plants from overheating and preserves heat, carbon dioxide feeding and so on.
