Federal forces stage operations against terrorists in Chechnya

The federal forces stage special operations for search of Chechen terrorists and separatists in the Chechen localities of Chiri-Yurt and Novye Atagi. The press service of the head of the Chechen administration reported that these localities situated in the mountain zone of the Southern Chechnya have been blocked.

The press service stressed that representatives of local authorities and prosecutor's office are taking part in the operation. Moreover, similar measures are taken in the city of Urus-Martan.

Head of the district administration Shirvani Yasayev said that the special measures do not affect the city's live and transport operation.

The press service of the head of the Chechen administration stressed that the situation in the aforementioned localities remains calm and controlled by authorities.
