The Ukrainian Security Service detained a group of six illegal immigrants from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Vietnam in Kiev. Seventy grams of heroin was withdrawn from the people. The official site of the Ukrainian Security Service informs that the investigation has revealed that the people were used as drug traffickers by a criminal gang. The group is headed by a citizen of Pakistan, who has been living in Kiev for a long time. The detained people tried to travel to Western Europe and paid with drugs for the organization of an illegal passage of the border in Ukraine and other countries. The service’s press center informs that the traffickers controlled the distribution of heroin through a wide network of drug dealers in Kiev.
A trader selling chicken legs on the Svyatoshinsky market in Kiev was the “godfather” of the Kiev mafia and illegal conveyance of the immigrants through borders. The Pakistani married a resident of Kiev; more than likely, his wife has been an active participant of the criminal activity as well. It was her apartment where the immigrants were detained with heroin.
The Security Service of Ukraine has instituted criminal proceedings against the Pakistani and his wife because of the illegal storage and sale of drugs. This is not the first case when organizers of illegal conveyance of immigrants start different kinds of criminal activity, drug dealing for example.
