International Sheremetyevo Airport and Aeroflot to create joint venture

A protocol on intentions to create a company Terminal Sheremetyevo-3 is planned to be adopted at a joint meeting of the Boards of Directors of Aeroflot and the International Sheremetyevo Airport scheduled for October 2, 2003.

According to the protocol, which is to be signed on October 2, the authorized capital of the new company will be 200m rubles ($6.4m). Aeroflot and the International Sheremetyevo Airport will have 50 percent each in the new company. Moreover, they are planning to attract a strategic investor, which will be offered to buy a 33.4 percent stake in the new company. An investor will be selected at a tender.
