Aeroflot in search of business partners

The Russian airline Aeroflot and the National Reserve Bank have recently held talks with Airport de Paris and a number of French construction and consulting companies. Participants of the talks touched upon the joint construction of the new Sheremetyevo-3 terminal. Analysts say, however, that French companies are not the only ones that have a chance to participate in the project. According to them, Aeroflot is also considering entering one of two alliances: either SkyTeam including Delta Airlines and Air France or Star Alliance run by Lufthanza. The first alternative looks preferable as Delta Airlines and Air France have almost no flights in the regions of Russia as yet, the Nezavisimaya Gazeta newspaper reported.
