The Russian Foreign Ministry knows nothing about the European concern Urenco being involved in nuclear fuel deliveries to Iran, Alexander Yakovenko, the official spokesman for the Russian Foreign Ministry, told a Monday press conference at RIA Novosti.
Earlier, media had reported that the uranium-enriching equipment discovered in Iran had been delivered by the Anglo-Dutch-German company Urenco.
On another occasion, the USA had accused Russia of providing Iran with nuclear fuel-enriching centrifuges.
Moscow does co-operate with Tehran as far as peaceful use of atomic energy is concerned, but it has its apprehensions about Iran having its own military nuclear program.
