Russia Needs 16.5 bln roubles to Fulfil Its Space Programmes in 2004

Russia will have to spend 16.5 billion roubles (more than $500 million) from its federal budget to fulfil all its space programmes in 2004, head of the Russian space agency Rosaviakosmos Yuri Koptev told journalists.

This year the budget's expenditures for space programmes total 9.6 billion roubles, he said.
