International Cooperation in Innovational Entrepreneurship Forum to Take Place in Moscow in June

The International Cooperation in Innovational Entrepreneurship forum will be held in Moscow, June 26 through 28, sponsored by the Asian-Pacific Economic Cooperation intergovernmental forum. The Innovational forum will become the first large-scale Asian-Pacific event in Russia capable of directly affecting the issue of eliminating the existing informational barriers and the establishing of new business connections in the interests of small and mid-sized Innovational companies set up in Russia by the member countries. The organisers of the forum are the Ministry of Anti-trust Policies and the Support of Entrepreneurship; the Ministry of Industry, Science and Technologies; the Chamber of Commerce and Industry; the Federal Fund for the Support of Small Business; the Fund for the Development of Small Scientific and Technological Companies; the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Investment of Russia and the Moscow Association of Entrepreneurs. The forum will be attended by Ilya Yuzhanov, the head of the Anti-trust Ministry; Alexander de la Pena, the Executive Director of the Asian-Pacific Secretariat; Kogi Sudjue, the Executive Director of the Corporation of Small and Medium-sized Business of Japan; Ivan Ornelas Dias, Director, International Relations of Ministry of Economy of Mexico; and other officials responsible for the development of entrepreneurship in Russia and other member countries. The Intergovernmental Forum for Asian-Pacific Economic Cooperation was founded in November 1989. At this time, it comprises 21 member countries in the Asian Pacific Region. In 1997, when Russia, Vietnam, and Peru became its members, a moratorium was declared on the further increase of the number of the members. The member countries of the Asian-Pacific Forum combined account for 60% of world product, 50% of foreign trade, and 40% of the world's population.

On December 10, 1948 the Universal Declaration of Human Rights was adopted by the United Nations General Assembly, its thirty articles enshrining basic and fundamental rights guaranteeing dignity of the human person and equality for all, regardless of race, color, creed or gender. A pipe dream?
