Today's trading session on the Russian stock market can be characterized by the lack of a single tendency, Alexey Sidorov of the Prolog investment agency reported in an interview with RBC. On the one hand, the market is experiencing a positive influence of optimistic closing on the US market on Thursday. On the other hand, falling US futures are having a negative impact on Russian stock exchanges as well as the upcoming weekend, which does not promote the opening of new positions. As a result, Russian blue chips are fluctuating within 1-1.5 percent and the trade volume is medium-sized. The analyst called the present situation on the market "consolidation" and noted it was hard to predict the further stock dynamics.
