Putin To Meet With State Council Over Agricultural Problems

Russian President Vladimir Putin will pay a one-day visit to Orenburg today and hold a meeting of the board of the Russian State Council. Participants of this meeting will discuss problems of the Russian agricultural industry. The press service of the regional administration reported that in addition to agricultural problems, officials will discuss issues on border guard cooperation with countries neighboring the region. As reported, the last time Putin visited Orenburg in December 1999 when he was the Russian Prime Minister.
