IMF Managing Director Horst Koehler will arrive in Moscow today. He will hold several meetings with officials of the Russian government and the Central Bank during his three-day visit. Primary attention will be paid to ways of developing collaboration between the IMF and Russia. In this respect, various budget policies and matters concerning the improvement of the tax system will be discussed. Koehler is expected to express his view of the Russian economy and budget policies for next year.
