Candy has carried out a presentation of Hoover, a new brand of premiumclass appliances. The new brand is oriented toward consumers with highincomes, Dmitry Kerzhanovich, marketing director of Candy, said in aninterview with RosBusinessConsulting. The company plans to provide theRussian market with exclusive models of washing machines, vacuum cleanersand fridges. According to the company's market analysts, at present, theshare of elite brands on the market of house appliances is only 9 percentin Russia. So the company intends to eliminate this deficit.Candy owns 12 plants in six countries. It produces 4.25m pieces of majorappliances annually and about 1.2m vacuum cleaners.
