The Federation Council, the upper house of the Russian parliament, has approved the bill on the transitional period in the process of restructuring the electrical energy sector. This document is one of the bills aimed at restructuring RAO UES. The bill enlarges authority of the Russian government in the transitional period.
The bill was supported by 109 senators with 20 against and 4 abstentions.
