Santos won a contract and during the following 20 years it will be able to sell more than 2 trillion cubic feet of gas. Gas will be supplied from onshore gas fields to Malaysia. The fields will include the Bentu production sharing contract in which Santos has a 61 per cent share. Santos will start $80 mln project of development the Bentu gas field in Indonesia. The first gas supply will start in 2005. Further it is expected that 300 million cubic feet a day of gas will be supplied during 20 years. Santos share in this project is about 135 million cubic feet.
