Court bans reporters from court room during SIBUR high-profile case hearing

One of the Moscow municipal courts made a judgement today about the furtherhearing of the criminal case of former senior officers of SIBUR behindclosed doors. The judgement was made today by judge Lyubov Zvyagina owingto the emerging press articles offending the honor of the court. Thecriminal case hearing is currently going on, and it is quite possible thatat today's session the lawyers of former President of SIBUR Yakov Goldovskywill apply for bail for their client. At a previous court session the courtdeclined a similar request. Goldovsky is charged with abuse of office,grand larceny and using counterfeit documents in money laundering. FormerVice President of SIBUR Yevgeny Koshits is charged with abuse of office andmoney laundering. .
