GAZ to deliver cars to Nigeria

GAZ will deliver "GAZel" minibuses, "GAZ-3307" and "GAZ-3308 Sadko" medium tonnage trucks as well as "GAZ-3110 Volga" motor cars to Nigeria.

The press service of the car factory said on Tuesday that a contract with foreign partners had been signed during the International Trade Fair in Lagos /Nigeria/.

GAZ presented its basic "GAZel" cars at the Fair: a minibus, a van and a board truck. These cars are of particular interest for foreign partners, the press service stressed.

According to the contract a great number of cars will be delivered to Nigeria in the beginning of 2003.

"GAZ" delivered its cars to Nigeria in the Soviet times. A new stage of cooperation was launched in 2001 when 130 "GAZel" cars from a trial delivery were successfully sold.
