Electrical power resellers owe $758.29 to RAO UES

The amount of debts of resellers of electrical power to companies of RAO UES of Russia has reached about RUR24bn ($758.29m), a representative of the RAO UES Public and Media Relations Department told RBC.

The retail margin of resellers for electrical power and heating sold to regional power utilities varies from 20% to 100%. For example, the retail margin of resellers in the eastern part of Russia exceeds 40%, the corresponding figure for Central Russia is 46%. The retail margin in the south reaches 56%, and the corresponding figure for the northwest is 67%. The respective margin reaches 100% in Siberia.
